Privacy Policy
Hippo OpenSim Viewer respects your privacy.
- Your login credentials are only sent to the grid servers you are
connecting to and stored on your local harddrive.
- When starting the viewer, it contacts our server to check for
available updates. The information sent to our server contains
your current viewer version and your MAC address. The MAC address
is solely used for collecting user
statistics and for no other purpose. The MAC addresses stored
on our server are not passed on to any other party.
- When starting the viewer, it contacts our server to update the
list of grids. This request is totally anonymous.
- The grid servers you are connecting to receive the data required
for logging in.
- Apart from the acceptions noted above, Hippo OpenSim Viewer does not
send personal information to any server.
